2013 is upon us all already and what a great start to the gathering we had last year!!!! 2013 sees us continuing with our mission to bring some great up and coming bands to Sutton Bridge and do we have some treats in store for you this year...check out our bands..rock , metal and on Lazy Sunday Afternoons at 5pm a bit of Powerfolk and the lighter side of rock....Come along on our Open Mic nites or Quiz Nites if you fancy something a little different...The gathering is a place where you can meet up with friends old and new and enjoy a crackin real ale in a relaxed atmosphere (well as relaxed as metal can be lol!) and all of them will give you a chance to meet our fab 'gathering' family which is rapidly growing. . Watch for the return of our bike nites when the weather improves and of course METALOKE! Hit our what's on button above to see what is coming up..all of our gigs are free entry.

ABOUT US
If you are looking at our site then we assume you have a passion for rock and metal as we do .We (Andy & Deb) have been followers of the metal music scene for many years now (more than we care to remember! ) Andy's passion for metal starting at aged 16 when he formed Destroya with a few of his mates. We have both continued to be involved in the scene doing the usual festivals such as Bloodstock Open Air, gigs, and during 2011 we were Centurions for Hard Rock Hell - London East which gave us the opportunity to work with lots of great bands including Kyrbgrinder, Intense and Neverworld to name a few. We want to continue building relationships with metal mags such as Metal Hammer, Classic Rock and Terrorizer and festival such as Bloodstock, so that we can bring metal to Sutton Bridge and the surrounding areas for new and old metalheadz. We also manage Deep Machine who formed in the NWOBHM era and are still going strong!. We have always wanted to own a pub so that we can keep rock and metal alive and the time is right for us just now. So here we are..we know it won't be a smooth ride but we look forward to welcoming you into our 'home' and into our metal family. \m/ the gathering..owned and run by metalheadz for metalheadz and rockers and bikers \m/

Well we had a crackin time and Bloodtsock Open Air and met some great people, including the Gregory Girls and Miranda and the team from Terrorizer Magazine..looking forward to next year's BOA..not sure if it can get any better...remember if we get enough peeps we can run a coach from the gathering...Bands of the weekend ...Testament, Paradies Lost, and Dio Disciples, and Machine Head. \m/
